If you’re into dark, dark chocolate like me, then you’re going to love these. Incredibly low in sugar and only sweetened with a banana and some crushed dark chocolate.


  • 1/4 cup coconut flour
  • 1/4 cup cacao powder
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 medium ripe banana mashed
  • 2 tbsp almond butter or other nut butter of choice
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 dark chocolate bar: 1/2 of it crushed up for the mix and more for topping


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a muffin pan with liners or healthy non-stick oil.
  2. Crush up half of the chocolate bar into small pieces. Save the rest of the chocolate bar for topping.
  3. Mix all of the ingredients together in a bowl, pour into muffin pan and top each muffin with some additional chocolate pieces. Feel free to add as much or as little as you want!
  4. Bake for 15 mins or until a toothpick comes out clean.
