A yummy and flavorful sauce to add to salads and much more!
Most of the time when I make a salad, I’ll just throw on a simple dressing and call it a day. But when I want something a little flavorful and different, I’ll whip up this healthy carrot ginger sauce.
It’s made with clean, good-for-you ingredients and all you have to do is throw the ingredients into a blender and blend!
Ingredients for Healthy Carrot Ginger Sauce:
- Carrots, finely chopped
- Fresh ginger root
- Coconut aminos – this is the one I normally buy
- Honey
- Olive oil
- Sea salt
- Water
How to Make Healthy Carrot Ginger Sauce:
Making this sauce couldn’t be easier. Just add all of the ingredients to a blender and blend until mixed together into a dressing-like texture.
If you want to make this sauce thicker, then all you need to do is add less water!

- 2 tsp finely chopped fresh ginger root
- 1/2 tbsp coconut aminos
- 1/2 tbsp honey
- 1–2 tbsp olive oil
- 1/4 tsp sea salt

Notes
There’s a small range for the olive oil measurement because I sometimes change it up a bit. The recipe should be fine with either 1 or 2 tbsp, but you can always start by just adding 1 tbsp, and then adding more later if necessary.
This recipe is perfect for a salad dressing, but if you want a thicker sauce, be sure to add less water.
