I absolutely love this maple sweet potato bread. It’s perfectly sweet and has the most amazingly soft, moist, and slightly fudgy texture. As you can tell by the title, the secret ingredient in this bread is the sweet potato! The addition of the sweet potato keeps this bread oh so gooey, just so yummy and even a little sticky, in a good way!

I decided to top mine with crushed pecans and chocolate chips and WOW I highly recommend it! It’s so tasty, but feel free to top it however you wish! Any types of nuts/seeds, fruit, chocolate, cacao nibs, coconut, etc. The top of this bread is your canvas!

Ingredients for Maple Sweet Potato Bread:

  • Mashed sweet potato
  • Maple syrup
  • Coconut flour
  • Almond flour
  • Cinnamon
  • Sea salt
  • Eggs
  • Almond butter
  • Vanilla extract
  • Almond milk (or other non-dairy milk of choice)
  • Baking soda

How to Make Maple Sweet Potato Bread:

This bread is so easy to make! Start by preheating the oven and then mixing all of the ingredients together in a bowl, including the mashed sweet potato (with skin removed). Pour the mix into a parchment paper-lined or greased 9″ x 5″ loaf pan.

Add toppings if desired! Then bake in the oven and enjoy!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3/4 cup mashed sweet potato (about one small garnet sweet potato)
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup coconut flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp sea salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 3/4 cup almond milk
  • 1 tsp baking soda

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix ingredients together in a bowl and pour into parchment paper lined or greased 9″ x 5″ loaf pan.
  3. Add toppings if desired. I added crushed pecans and chocolate chips.
  4. Bake for about 40-45 mins or until toothpick comes out clean.
