Simple, clean, and tasty! Is there anything better!?
Pasta is my love language. I just love it so much. Ever since I was a kid it’s been a favorite of mine! And pasta with a good vodka sauce just hits the spot! Unfortunately, most creamy vodka sauces have dairy in it, which I try to avoid for health reasons. But here’s an INCREDIBLY easy way to make your own healthy vodka sauce at own. Only 2 ingredients and very little effort! Try this 2 Ingredient Dairy-Free Vodka Sauce…it’s so easy, there’s no reason not to!

I’ll just get straight to the point and share how to make it!
Ingredients for Dairy-Free 2 Ingredient Vodka Sauce:
- Healthy tomato sauce of choice – my go-to’s are Whole Food’s 365 Marinara Sauce (cheap!), Rao’s Homemade Marinara Sauce, and Primal Kitchen Foods Tomato Basil Marinara Sauce.
- Cashews
That’s all you need! When looking for a healthy tomato sauce, just be sure to look at the list of ingredients. I try to avoid any added sugars or questionable oils, but choose whatever works for you!
How to Make Dairy-Free 2 Ingredient Vodka Sauce:
It seriously couldn’t be any easier! All you basically have to do is add the tomato sauce and the cashews to a blender and blend!
Before making the sauce, however, you have the option to soak the cashews in very hot water for about an hour. I always recommend soaking if you can, as this makes it much easier for the cashews to blend in the blender. It also has a nutritional benefit! Soaking nuts enables more of the nutrients to be accessible, making it healthier. It’s up to you! If you have a high-powered blender, like a Vitamix, then you don’t have to soak if you don’t want to.
Sometimes when I make this it will be very last minute, so I won’t have time to soak the cashews, and it still turns out great!
After soaking the cashews (or not), add the full jar of tomato sauce and the cashews and blend in a blender on high until fully mixed together.

Ingredients
- 1 25 oz jar healthy tomato sauce
- 1.5 cups cashews, unsalted + unroasted
Instructions
- Start by soaking the cashews in very hot water for 1 hour (optional, but recommended!).
- Then drain the cashews and add to a blender along with the tomato sauce.
- Mix together until thoroughly combined.
- Heat, pour over pasta and enjoy.
