The easiest banana bread ever! And made only simple clean ingredients.
If you still don’t know by now, I LOVE minimal ingredient recipes! I like my cooking and baking to be simple, efficient and not overwhelming. That’s why I love this 5 Ingredient Banana Bread! It seriously couldn’t be easier to make.
Ingredients for 5 Ingredient Banana Bread:
- Ripe bananas
- Oat flour
- Maple syrup
- Eggs
- Baking soda
Yep, that’s it! You could also add chocolate chips on top if you prefer – I highly recommend it. I mean…it’s really never a bad idea to add chocolate!
If you want to ensure the recipe is gluten-free/dairy-free/refined sugar-free, make sure you choose the appropriate chocolate chips! The ones I used in this recipe were the Enjoy Life Foods Dark Chocolate Chips which are dairy-free/gluten-free/vegan but do have some cane sugar. These Lily’s Dark Chocolate Chips are refined sugar-free.
I also like to add another banana on top, sliced in half. Again, it’s up to you!
How to Make 5 Ingredient Banana Bread:
It’s so simple to make! Start by preheating the oven and greasing a 9″ x 5″ loaf pan with coconut oil or other healthy oil. Mix all of the ingredients thoroughly together in a bowl, except for any toppings. Pour the mix into the loaf pan.
Add any toppings if desired. As you can see from my photos, I added chocolate chips and an additional banana sliced in half. I love adding another banana sliced on top because I think it makes it look so beautiful…and I also just LOVE banana flavor, so the more the merrier!
Bake in the oven, let cool a bit, and then enjoy!
